Overview

Kim Chun-sam, who has known life as a beggar, resolves to lead and uplift others like him. Through sheer determination and struggle, he rises to become the "king of beggars." He forms the "Self-Reliance Pioneering Group," promoting land reclamation, organizing community marriages, guiding thieves and outcasts toward hope, and dreaming of a society where begging no longer exists.
