Overview

Nomura secretly hoped to see Sayuri, his first love. Sayuri, the daughter of a small movie theater owner, was already in the midst of marriage arrangements with her childhood friend, Kimio. Nomura imagined himself sweeping her away from Kimio—picturing the scene as if it were straight out of a movie—but that fantasy was abruptly shattered by a call from his own fiancée, Mika.
