Overview

Bound by the experience of illness, a mother and daughter invite us into an intimate story of tenderness, closeness, and courage. Marysia—a young artist—seeks to come to terms with the difficult emotions surrounding her mother’s battle with breast cancer through her art. She sculpts a bust of her mother and tattoos her chest, transcending the boundaries of touch, skin, and silence. Their collaboration becomes an act of intimacy, yet also a confrontation with painful realities: shame, fear, and unhealed memories.
