Overview

It has been almost three years since Zaid (Rashidi Ishak) and his family have celebrated Hari Raya together in their hometown. His parents, Wan (Khatijah Tan) and Tok Wan (Mior Hashim Manaf) clearly miss their beloved grandchild and are increasingly eager to spend time together with them. This year is no different for Zaid because his wife Elyna (Rita Rudaini) is busy with work. When Zaid calls to inform his parents that they will not be returning to the village, Wan conspires with Tok Wan to go to the city and give Zaid a surprise. Although Wan feels unwelcome by Elyna, she does not give up and decides to use her secret weapon—a delicious rendang dish, cooked with love to win over her family's hearts.
