Mystic Tales : The Spider Lady‘s Vendetta

Overview

The amnesiac paper craftsman Bai Xiaoman rescues Hu Bugui, a half-paper doll who is being hunted and has only three days to find the treasures needed to regain his human form. Bai Xiaoman decides to accompany him on an adventure to help him recover his lost memories. The two enter the Hidden Market using the Tiger Talisman to find the Rootless Water, where they encounter Meng Po (Meng Ruyi), trapped by a century-old obsession. They learn of her heartbreaking past, where she and her lover Lu Ming were separated by class barriers and could never be together again. Meng Po (Meng Ruyi) is consumed by her obsession and transforms into a spider demon, wreaking havoc. The two attempt to join forces with Lu Ming's reincarnation to redeem her, setting the stage for a fierce battle.
