What is the purpose of schools? This question sparks a broad discussion aimed at understanding the current landscape of education in Mexico. Through metafiction, The End of School takes the reader on a playful journey—told in four sections from within a fictional classroom—that reflects on the value of learning and, above all, champions the premise that schools must serve as a vehicle for creating opportunities. For if they fail to do so, it is highly likely that they will meet their end.
