Overview

Laila grew up without her family's affection and was forced into marriage for their benefit, so she fled to pursue her own education and life. Years later, she returns when her parents become frail, but resentment makes it difficult for her to forgive—until her father's death leaves her with deep regret. Finally, Laila chooses to let go of her old wounds and accept her mother, so as not to continue living in regret.
