Overview

A meditation in two parts. The traveller lays up a set of headphones and tranforms his tropical setting into a concert stage, listening to an acoustic cover of the Stooges’ hit which gives this movie its title, the one ranked 438 on Rolling Stone magazine’s 500 best of all time. A palm tree-gilded road in rural Cuba is the setting for a meditation on a dog’s life. Traffic flows accommodate the uneasy terrain, the fellow travellers, as if we were all in this together.
