Natalie Monarrez

Natalie Monarrez is an Amazon warehouse worker, stand-up comic, and organizer with the Amazon Labor Union at the Staten Island JFK8 facility, where she worked as a sort inductor on the ship dock. She lived in her car in the JFK8 parking lot for roughly two years while working at the warehouse, a story that drew national attention through a VICE profile. During the union's National Labor Relations Board hearings, she testified that an anti-union consultant hired by Amazon had promised to relay her workplace concerns directly to Jeff Bezos — testimony that contributed to the NLRB's 2023 finding that Amazon had committed multiple violations of federal labor law during the JFK8 organizing campaign.
